DOGS FOR ADOPTION

FREDDIE
Freddie is a three-year-old fox hound. He was rescued from a difficult life on a farm. When he came into foster care his life changed completely, and Freddie slowly but surely came out of his shell. In six weeks time he has become a happy dog, best friends with his foster brother and devoted to his wonderful foster dad.
Freddie is a calm and content dog, good with children and with other dogs. When he meets new people he is a bit shy. He walks nicely on the lead and has good recall. After all he has been through, he is still kind to everybody and is looking for his forever loving home.

SCAMP
Scamp is tripod, one of his hind legs had to be amputated due to an injury at birth. But that does not slow him down. At all. He is grand with cats and even offers them his toys. From day one he showed his fosterers, that he is willing to adapt to anything. He is playful, affectionate and just wants to be loved. He adores every other dog/cat he meets and always wants to make friends. He is doing well with house- and crate training and has started his crate training. Tripods have to keep running for momentum so he would fit best in a home with plenty of space to run and kids from age 7 up as his is a bit boisterous still. If you are interested in giving this brave boy a loving home, the fosterer would be happy to answer all questions and share experience regarding tripod dogs.

MARLO
Marlo is a small but strong Collie boy and only 1 year old.
He was lucky to be taken in by KLAWS when his life was at risk. He is a very handsome, lovely and friendly dog.
He is still very young and has a lot of learning to do, starting with lead training. But with some patience and love, the sky is the limit for him.
While he is very good with other dogs, he doesn't like cats. So he is looking for a cat-free house.

SAM
Sam would probably benefit most from being fostered by loving people with the aim to adopt.
Sam is very gentle, he has never growled or snapped at anyone. Although he is very shy and scared, he is opening up to his current foster parent and has learnt to accept treats out of hand!
He likes to be stroked but is too timid to ask for it.
Sudden noises and movements can still startle him, but he is making progress. Nonetheless, there's still quite a way to go for him to become a trusting, happy, wonderful companion - the potential is there!
Sam is friendly with other dogs and we feel that his development might be helped along by the company of a gentle, confident dog.
Sam's new home will preferably have no small children or cats.

HERBIE
Herbie just wants to be loved, walked and allowed to play with other young dogs. He has limitless energy and needs lots of exercise, which means that he would love a family with an active lifestyle.
Herbie is very easily trained and responds well to routine and kindness.
He was abandoned in a lonely bog area without food or shelter for weeks, which has left him understandably fearful, but his spirit is very strong.

However, Lizzy is not keen on other dogs, cats or livestock.
