DOG REHOMING
Dogs come into KLAWS’ care from a variety of sources. It can be a litter of unwanted puppies, a failed working dog, or a dog whose owner has either passed away or gone into residential care. What all our dogs have in common is that they are looking for a loving forever home. Some of those dogs would be better suited for a single-person household, others would thrive as members of a big family. But they all need a warm bed, love, attention and security in their forever homes. If you would like to adopt a dog, please click here
CAT REHOMING
Rescue cats and kittens may be found on roadsides, abandoned in derelict buildings, left motherless or starving after a fallout from yet another 'accidental pregnancy', etc. But, luckily, good people have not disappeared from this world and give us hope and encouragement to continue on our mission to keep rescuing and rehoming stray, abandoned or semi-feral cats. If you are looking to add a fluffy new member to your family, look no further - chances are, we probably have one ready to be rehomed who is just perfect for you! To adopt a cat, please click here
Volunteer with Us
Volunteering is a very rewarding way of giving back to the community you live in. If you have recently moved or gotten too used to isolating yourself in recent years, volunteering is an easy way to get to know like-minded people and participate in the synergy that happens when individuals come together working on a shared goal. Often volunteering seems daunting in our already busy lives, but every little helps and makes a difference. Most of us know animals as companions staying by our side through thick and thin. Always greeting us happily after a long day at work, making sure we stay active and fit. And animals are particularily thankful when we help them out of often dire situations they find themselves in for no fault of their own. So many say: we think we rescue them, but really they rescue us... To find out how you can contribute or to meet our volunteers, please click the button here.
Your Donation Matters!
As a volunteer-based charity, we are wholly dependent on the kindness of good people, our donors and a DAFM grant. In order to fund our mission, we have a charity shop in Kenmare, we organize different events at various locations, we sell our merchandise online and through third parties. And we are always grateful for any support offered. Your donations will go 100% towards helping animals; for example vet bills, food, special dietary needs, kenneling and transport.
